Auto Star Smog Check and Repair is an authorized California Smog Test and Repair facility. We certify all vehicle makes and models in need of certification. This includes registration renewals, and first time registrations in California. The registration renewal notice mailed to you by the department of motor vehicles will indicate if a smog certification is required.
When purchasing a car within California, the seller must provide evidence of a current smog certification when the vehicle is more than four model years old. No matter the reason for getting your vehicle smogged, emissions testing certifications are good for 90 days from the date of issuance.
Auto Star Smog Check and Repair also provides a complete line of auto repair services. If you don't see the service you need listed, please ask. Our technicians are ASE certified and factory trained. We use OEM replacement parts and offer affordable and discounted prices. We accept all major credit cards and will give you an accurate estimate prior to any work being performed.
